About No Fuss Sourdough

Why I started No Fuss Sourdough

No Fuss Sourdough began with a simple conversation.

One of Kirsty’s neighbours mentioned how hard sourdough looked and how she wished she could make it, but felt it was all just too complicated. Kirsty’s response was simple: “It’s actually not hard at all. You just need to be shown.”

So she started a small sourdough baking group in Stanwell Park. That group quickly filled, then another was added and then another. Word spread, and before long No Fuss Sourdough was born.

At almost every workshop, Kirsty heard the same story:
“I tried sourdough and gave up.”
“I didn’t know where to start.”
“It just looked too hard.”

The truth? Sourdough doesn’t need to be complicated.

Through years of baking and teaching, Kirsty has stripped sourdough back to what actually matters. No unnecessary steps. No confusing rules. Just the bare minimum you need to make delicious, nourishing sourdough that fits into real life.

No Fuss Sourdough is about confidence, simplicity, and showing you that sourdough can be achievable, enjoyable, and sustainable—whether you’re baking for yourself or your family.

If you’ve ever thought “I can’t do sourdough”—these workshops are for you.

In her No Fuss Sourdough workshops, Kirsty shares not only how to make sourdough, but why, exploring the benefits, practical ways to bake, and the ingredients that truly matter—without overwhelm.

As a mum of two juggling work and business, Kirsty understands how busy life can be. That’s why her approach is practical, flexible, and designed to fit into everyday life, not take it over.
